Basic Math & Reading Classes

Taft College also offers supplement classes that are designed to meet the needs of students without disabilities. They include:

  • Functional Word Processing (LRSK63)
    • This class is designed to be taken in conjunction with mainstream English courses. The intent of this class is to instruct students about sentence structure and producing paragraphs and essays
  • Math Concepts (LRSK64)
    • This class is designed to augment mainstream math courses & provides one on one instruction

These are non-transferable classes, where students can learn skills that will enhance their college experience, and prepare them for success in mainstream, college-level coursework.
